##What is Gate Alpha Point? Alpha Points is an activity evaluation index based on user behavior within the Gate platform and the Alpha ecosystem. The point value is the cumulative total of points earned daily over the past 15 days. The more actively users hold assets and engage in trading, the more points they will earn.

The core function of points is that it will directly determine whether users are qualified to participate in various rights activities in the Alpha zone, including but not limited to TGE subscription, Token Airdrop, and other limited reward activities. The higher the points, the greater the opportunity to obtain qualification for participating in quality projects.

How are points calculated?

1. Balance Points Gate Alpha converts the eligible assets held by users on centralized exchanges (including spot market listed coins and Alpha zone assets) into USD market value daily, serving as the basis for the day's balance points. Assets not included in the scope are: tokens that are not listed on Gate or not displayed in the Alpha showcase area, coins that are not supported for trading on the internal market, etc.

2. Trading Volume Points Only the "buy" transaction amount of users in the Gate platform Alpha selection area is counted, and sell transactions and internal market data are not included. The rules for earning points are as follows:

• First purchase of at least 2 USDT per day can earn 1 point;
• For every doubling of the purchase amount, you can earn an additional 1 point. For example: buying 4 USDT earns 2 points, buying 8 USDT earns 3 points, and so on.
• Special Bonus Event: Gate Alpha will hold trading incentive activities for designated Tokens from time to time. During this period, participating in the trading of specific coins can earn additional points. Details are subject to the event announcement.

##Snapshot Mechanism and Points Update

• Daily Snapshot Time: 07:59:59 (UTC+8), the system will record the user's assets and trading activities for the day;
• Points update time: Before 14:00 on the same day, the system will update the total points accumulated over the past 15 days;
• For example: If you complete the transaction before April 23 at 07:59:59, the record will be counted into April 22; if it is later than this time, it will belong to April 23.
