Odaily News Solana developers are considering raising the block limit from 60 million compute units to 100 million compute units through the SIMD-0286 proposal, which will achieve a 66% capacity rise, provided that validators choose to join the upgrade. The proposal aims to further enhance the Solana network capacity, allowing for more transactions per second. Compute units are the basic unit for measuring transaction complexity and resource consumption in the Solana network, and raising the block compute unit limit will directly enhance the network's transaction processing capability.
